Since I travel alone, I didn't eat at Blue Mussel this summer. I felt guilty at taking a table for only myself. My question: Next summer, can I simply wait for a table just for myself? I would like that! Thanks!

Hey Janet, sorry we missed you this year. We do have a few tables for two that you could use and we also do allow singles to eat at the bar. Your choice. Hope to see you again next season!

Unfortunately we don’t offer takeout as an option.

What is your least busy evening in order to avoid a long wait. If we arrive at 4:45 what would the estimated wait be. Thanks

Yep. Lots of options however there are more options at supper vs lunch. All of our menu items that contain wheat are marked. You can view them on our website at bluemusselcafe.com or on our menu in store. Hope to see you soon!

Curious as to whether you will be open on Setting Day this year?

Hi Nancy, unfortunately we have to wait for the ground to thaw so our water can be turned back on. We plan on opening for the season on May 18th this year.

Is this restaurant open throughout October or does it close the 1st of October? We plan on visiting North Rustico late September into early October. Are most restaurants still open at this time?

We stay open as long as the weather allows.... We usually are able to stay open until around Oct 20th depending on the weather. We don’t normally close before that.
